project statement
This project explores the idea that a home is a representation of its inhabitants' identity, just like a portrait. The traditional domestic architecture, while providing shelter, often lacks personalization in modern society. People's identities are shaped by various characteristics, and their homes should reflect this diversity. In the past, personal artifacts made homes unique, but in today's homogenized society, individuality is often lost. The project advocates for a shift in domestic architecture to accommodate diverse identities, challenging traditional family roles and gendered spaces. The key lies in allowing inhabitants to shape their homes according to their identities.
